In an effort to raise awareness of the violence facing women and children in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), a number of organizations have put together an Oregon installation of One Million Bones in conjunction with Conflict Free City Initiative (CFCI).
The installation will be held in the PSU Park Blocks (SW), and the public will be able to walk through a path of bones and electronics.

“It’s a Girl” will premiere in Washington, DC. The documentary discusses the fate of millions of girls who are killed, abandoned, or selectively terminated, simply because of their gender, a form of violence and oppression known as "gendercide".
