Sally Smith, Sudan Now Coordinator

Sally Smith is the Sudan Now campaign coordinator with Enough, a project of the Center for American Progress to end genocide and crimes against humanity.

With seven years experience working on political, issue advocacy, and social marketing campaigns, Sally's background is in bringing together various organizations, constituencies, and individuals to actively support causes and candidates.

Prior to joining the Enough Project, Sally worked for many campaigns and nonprofit organizations, including the Partnership for Public Service, Obama for America, Nick Lampson for U.S. Congress, Walmart Watch, EMILY's List, and Tony Knowles for U.S. Senate. Sally has written pieces for The Washington Post and is author of the 330-page Complete Idiot's Guide to Getting Government Jobs, a book designed to promote public service.

Sally holds a B.A. from Rollins College in English, with a double minor in writing and Spanish. She is also an alumnus of EMILY's List Campaign Corps.
