This Tuesday: Participate in Save Darfur's Coalition Call
Posted by Alex Hellmuth on Jul 20, 2009
On Tuesday July 21st, the Save Darfur Coalition is hosting a coalition call featuring Enough’s Colin Thomas-Jensen explaining the implications of the pending legal decision on the contested boundaries of the Abyei region in Sudan. As we’ve previously noted, the Abyei Arbitration Tribunal in The Hague is set to deliver a verdict on the boundaries of the oil-rich region on Wednesday, July 22nd. The call will focus on this crucial event as well as the Obama administration’s ongoing Sudan policy review, the recent U.N. Secretary-General's report on UNAMID, and the status of ICC action against Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir.
You can click here to sign-up to participate in the coalition call at 3p.m. on Tuesday.
