RAISE Hope's Contest Winner Headed to Congo and Sudan
Posted by Candice Knezevic on Mar 18, 2010
The Bend, Oregon, based team that produced the winning video for our 'Come Clean 4 Congo' video contest last October is on their way to central Africa. Writer Matthew Smith, videographer Elizabeth Fischer, and photographer Benjamin Edwards will be visiting relief and development projects in southern Sudan and eastern Congo March 11 - April 2. As volunteers with an organization called World Relief NEXT, their goal is to conduct interviews, gather media, raise awareness and create a platform for Sudanese and Congolese to tell their stories.
We encourage you to follow trip online at www.worldreliefnext.org/blog and twitter.com/worldreliefnext
